Rap-o-Clap-o by Joe Bataan

Joe recorded first for RCA in 1975, releasing his version of the early disco instrumental "The Bottle", originally by Gil Scott-Heron. Shortly afterwards, he switched to Salsoul records and began to release further disco tracks. Around this time, he also wrote for LaSo. He next dabbled in disco-rap, and released "Rap-o-clap-o" and "Rap-o-dance-o" - two early classic disco styled rap tracks. Listen also for "Sadie (she smokes)" from the same album.
